Firm anatomical drawing, the strokes that in their thousands make hair, the definite and harmonious patterning of the turban.’ (P. Mitter, Art and Nationalism in Colonial India, 1850-1922: Occidental Orentations, Cambridge University Press, 1994, p.323).
