Set of 4 lithographic prints of people and rulers of Gujarat and Maharashtra, from the book titled Oriental Memoirs by artist James Forbes [1813]. Taken from the Plates Portfolio re-issued in 1834. Drawn 1770s, published 1834.

James Forbes lived in India in the 1760s-1780s and all prints are based on drawings made during that period [the dates are printed on each print].
