This striking work captures the raw, unrestrained vitality of his iconic horse series. Executed with bold, gestural strokes of deep black and vivid crimson, the composition showcases a rearing horse rendered in Das’s unmistakable expressionistic style. The animal’s form appears to surge out of the picture plane, its musculature suggested through spontaneous, almost calligraphic marks. Surrounding splashes and flicks of pigment heighten the impression of movement, evoking both energy and emotional intensity.
