Malcolm (1769-1833), visited Persia three times on diplomatic missions. he travelled to the most of the provinces and he had excellent officers, some of whom also wrote books on Persia. He dispatched his officers to various parts of the country to observe and report. Malcolm's history begings with the legendary kings and ends with the beginnings of the Qajars.
