A rare copy with colored plates, based on sketches carried out during Major General Sir Charles Napier's campaign which led to the annexation of Scinde (or Sind), and his campaign against the hill tribes on the northern frontier, ending with Beja Khan's surrender at Traki on March 9th 1845.
BINDING: Original maroon half leather over brown moire cloth hardcover boards, gilt title and large vignette in gilt on upper board, expertly rebacked in style.
